Here’s one of the best videos. We went to a place called Placencia, Belize, one of the only places you can dive with whale sharks. (They eat plankton not people!) For the week after the full moon between March and June whale sharks come to this area to feed so you have the best chance to see them.
We were very fortunate as no-one had seen any in the months of March or April and was one of the best diving (and non-diving) experiences I’ve had!!

So it’s been a week now since I got home from Belize. I thought I’d share some of my favourite pictures and why I’ve been so quiet for the past 2 and a bit weeks!
I was very happy and suprised to find out that I have been shortlisted for the AOI Illustration Awards for this piece of work I entered into the Children’s Book category. The standards are so high so I doubt I’ll win but it’s nice to be shortlisted!

I thought I’d share with you the reason why I haven’t been posting much arty things of late, we’ve recently bought a house that hasn’t been redecorated since the 1960’s so it needs a lot of work! These are just a few pics, I can’t wait to do a proper before and after set. You can pretty much see a before/almost after of the bathroom. It’s almost liveable so shouldn’t be too long before I can get back to painting paper instead of walls.
A little painting I did for the craft fairs I did over the Christmas period, it was strange drawing something with no animals!
Just noticed I never put up the rest of my bears! So here they are. Apologies for the lack of illustration things, I have a new house which is in need of a full redecoration so that’s taking up all my time at the minute! When it’s liveable I shall get back to work.
